Abstract Mesoporous SBA-15 silicate with a high surface area was prepared by hydrothermal method, successively modified organic melamine ligands and then used for deposition of Pd nanoparticles onto it. The synthesized materials were characterized infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), nitrogen physisorption, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) coupled energy dispersive X-ray (EDX), transmission (TEM), nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) inductively plasma (ICP-OES). catalyst effectively in the Mizoroki–Heck coupling reaction various reactants presence an base giving desired products short time small catalysts loadings. parameters such as type, amounts catalyst, solvents, temperature optimized. easily recovered reused at least seven times without significant activity losses.
